July 2022 Newsletter: Empathy Without Pain

I hope this message finds you doing well and enJOYing my favorite time of the year. We are living in rapidly changing times, and it is more important than ever to develop healthy habits to stay in balance. Visiting the ocean, lakes or a pool is where I am most content these days. I hope this message helps you to take good care of yourself in these transformative and occasionally tumultuous times.

This question comes up often in my Angelic Empowerment (reading) sessions: What do you do when someone you love is suffering and you begin to feel their pain and struggle? How do we have empathy without absorbing the pain and hurt we hear about from those suffering all over the world?

Being a highly sensitive person, I learned early on that watching the news was not good for me. I remember wanting to send my Christmas presents to Africa as a kid from the Sponsor a Child commercials. I felt powerless and a need to help. Over the past 20 years of doing this Intuitive work full time for others, I have fine-tuned my sensitivity to connect with your loved ones here and in the Spirit world along with your Spirit World helpers. I have had to consciously not absorb and embody pain, suffering and grief as my feeling or clairsentient sense is the strongest.

The great shamans took on the pain of the world but knew to release it to Mother Earth. She takes cow manure and makes the best cucumbers and tomatoes. She doesn’t need our plastic or chemicals but is great at transmuting our emotional crap or pain. Or even better, we can choose to not absorb it in the first place!

The Angels shared with me many years ago, when you see someone struggling and want to help remember that there is a purpose for what is happening. We don’t always know what that is. I know that I have learned and grown from the traumas and disappointments I have been through in my 56 years. If we rescue and fix, they will have to get the lesson another way. My deepest knowing is also that there are no accidents, victims or mistakes.

So how can we help? We can feel what we feel as sensitive beings but then move to knowing wellbeing for them. We can ask what they need from us. We can pray for and with them. Feeling what it is like to suffer like they do isn’t helpful as we end up feeling double the pain. We feel their pain and also what it is like to witness the pain.

You know that if someone is in a ditch and you climb in with them everyone is in trouble. Instead, you would stand on the edge and offer a ladder, a hand, water or a listening ear. It is the same when we see someone emotionally struggling. We can ask what they need and offer our compassion. Tell them we CANNOT WAIT until things are better for them. Cheer them on and visualize them down the road healed from their current struggles. Inspire them by sharing that we are going to stay in that knowing for them until they are living it. Remind them that you and they have been in low places before and have survived, grown and learned so many lessons from those struggles.

Can you feel the energy shift from the lower, powerless vibration of tuning into their pain and suffering to the Higher, powerful vibration of hope? That is our work, not to absorb pain but to shift it by offering our love and confidence that they will get to the other side of their struggle. I have to practice this daily in my life and sessions. Gratefully, it is a win/win for all. I am able to help others, stay healthy and strong while I pull those I care for like a magnet to their beautiful, positive outcomes.

I have also been working on grounding and strengthening my connection to Mother Earth. I joke that this is not my planet as I have never felt connected to the earth. Intuitively, I have heard that this is the lifetime and time for me to safely embody fully and physically on earth, not just spiritually and energetically, before beautiful, powerful grandbabies come.

One of the ways I am working on grounding and connecting to Mother Earth is our upcoming Reclaiming Joy and Peace Retreat August 12-14. I have ONE MORE ROOM AVAILABLE for a single, 2 friends or a couple. It will be a magical weekend on the lake and beautiful property of Rolling Ridge Retreat Center in Andover, MA. This is perfectly aligned with what we need right now to allow Mother Earth to release and transform the struggles of the last few years so we can shine our light brightly again. Let me know if you can join us! All the details are here: Reclaiming Joy and Inner Peace Retreat.

And more exciting news, our Angelights soul sister, Heather Del Rios and I are bringing a group of you to Brazil to attend an amazing Shamanic energy healing certification course. It is the perfect time and next right step to balance my Spirit with the earthly, physical body healing I have struggled with. Maybe you need this too! We are finalizing the details and will share them once they are all complete. Here’s what we know so far:

The date is January 10- 17, 2023. We will stay at a beautiful Retreat center on a lake with a path to a Waterfall and eat healthy, homemade meals. We will be certified by a wonderful Shaman, Luiz, in Shamanic Reiki Healing I and II. (You don’t have to be certified in other forms of Reiki to attend.) We will attend a drumming ceremony and create our own drum! We are so excited and hope you are too! Let me know if you are interested and I’ll add you to the growing list.

Lastly, I am posting inspirational messages on Facebook often to add light to your day. Until we meet again over the phone or in person, please allow the love and deep knowing in my heart that I am sending you all to melt away any current struggles so that you feel with me that All Is Well, Always and in All Ways.

love, Love and MORE LOVE,

Jackie xoxo

I will be at our Angelights soul sister, Andrea’s beautiful shop, Strawberry Moon in Marion, MA on 7/14 doing Past Life Regressions from 10-6pm. Book your session here.
