Happy New Year my wonderful friends! There is so much hype about resolutions and reviewing the past year and while I know it can be helpful, it really seems like words. We resolve to change, get a good start and then before we know it go back to old habits that are often unconscious until the New Year comes around to wake us up again.
We only create through action in the moment. We don’t have to wait until the New Year to commit. Every decision we make boils down to two choices. We can choose the path of love or fear. In each moment we choose which way to go & our lives reflect these choices. This doesn’t mean that we are never afraid. We feel the fear or darkness and make the choice to not let it paralyze us by shining the light of hope and truth & blast it with love.
How do we do this in the moment? We humble ourselves by waving the white flag and ask for the help from our Creator, the Angels, our fellow light servers, family and friends. We surround ourselves with those that are in the light and love too. We choose to avoid judgement of ourselves and others and accept that we are all doing our best. We look for the signs, maybe in the form of numbers, creatures, songs or friends that show up at just the right moment to light our way. They remind us that we are never alone & right exactly where we need to be. Most importantly, the quickest antidote to fear is gratitude. It is the magical, miracle potion that Poof, makes it disappear. Then with renewed strength, we forge ahead knowing how proud we will be that we tried.
When the tough moments pass as they always do, we bask in the in awe of our Creator. Then we light the path for someone else that has forgotten. This is what we came here to do. We came to Choose, Be, Receive and Spread Love. It is so simple but we make is so complicated. That is how we evolve as a species. Right now planet earth and humanity is at a tipping point. The fear wants to tear us apart. But love always wins. The dark doesn’t really exist and is a complete illusion. The Angels say over and over in my sessions, all you need is a match to light your way & the darkness disappears. We are the ones that make the darkness go away when we choose love over fear.
So in our quest for fun, joy, health, trips, partners, weight loss, better jobs, more time or whatever we seek, please join me in remembering that all those things boil down to one goal. The reason we want them is because we believe they will make us happy. Happiness is fleeting & dependent on outside circumstances, what we want is more love & peace…always. And love is only present in the moment we are in. It is always available and always a choice.
I wish each one of you, all those you love and even those that are hard to love a million ridiculously amazing moments in the year ahead and beyond and that you can always keep Love as your powerful guide. I can’t remember a time that I have read something so important and profound to my mental and spiritual well being as this newsletter for 2016!* At this time in my life, if someone asks me “what is happiness” I do feel it is Peace! I appreciate your ability to speak from your heart and your life experience when you talk about ” the quickest antidote to fear is gratitude”! I have never heard that before…and I’m sure you connected with so many just with that wisdom.
I keep on going back to this newsletter because it gives me what I need at this time.
