New Year’s 2014 Newsletter- Extreme Self CARE and LOVE

photoHappy New Year to all!  It is with relief that I say goodbye to 2013 and excitement that I welcome this wonderful new year of possibilities.  I was reminded by Jack Kornfield recently that we can let go of the past and begin again every morning at breakfast or at any point in the day.  We don’t have to do it just once a year.  I say YES to that reminder!

I love this fabulous picture I received from Jill after her RI Polar plunge.  Any struggles, pain or fears of the past year have been washed away.  I am choosing to start this year with a clean slate remembering that my attitude is such a huge part of my experiences.

I awoke early New Years Day at the time of the 1st New Moon of 2014 & felt so clearly in my bones that this year’s theme is Extreme Self Care & Love.  I heard that our daily or even minute to minute mantra needs to be,  “I am enough.  I do enough.  I have enough.”  We are being called to breathe those powerful words in deeply when the urge steamrolls through us to run, fix or do something to fill the empty void of this human experience for ourselves or others.  These are the powerful brakes that will stop us & wake us out of the automatic patterns we keep going back to.  It will bring us back to the truth.  All is Well, always and in All Ways no matter what we are looking at. 

Our fellow brothers & sisters & our world isn’t broken.  All that is ever needed is for us to show up rested, feeling loved, grateful & therefore able to share that overflow of love & compassion with others.  So many of us are tired & weary of this human mission & long for the comfort and peace of being back in our Spirit bodies.  But we’re still here because we haven’t learned that we came to learn how to turn that nurturing, care-taking energy inward and be the light for ourselves.  We came here to learn this exact lesson.  As Light servers, Trailblazers or Sensitive ones we have done such a great job of serving our fellow humans but now it is time to get serious about extreme self care and love.

That touched my heart and feels so what I want for myself and everyone else.  Thanks Kris!  She is an amazing light who is such a teacher of courage, self care and empowerment. 

I also want to share a New Year’s practice I began last year that our Angelights sister, Regina, reminded me of to help us move with intention into 2014.  Think about what you desire, dream and want to bring, create or manifest for yourself for this coming year.  Once you get a general idea, condense it into one word.  Take your time until it feels just right. 

Last year my word was FUN and I had a year of amazing, fun experiences including going to Disney 3 times! This year my word is COMFORT.  The definition I found fits perfectly.  “A state of physical ease and freedom from pain or constraint.  Things that contribute to physical ease and well being.  Prosperity and the pleasant lifestyle secured by it.”  With some opportunities to bring greater health and vitality to my body I know that giving myself & accepting comfort from others is exactly what I need this year.  So what is your word for 2014?  Some family members & friends have chosen along with my Comfort: Enjoy, Learning, Sexy, Fun, Enhancement & Prioritize.  YAY!  Please share your word with me.  I would love to hear it.

I know that this year is going to be filled with deep change for all of us, personally and globally.  The planets, sun and moon are lining up in all kinds of ways at various times this year to assist us in cleaning out old belief systems or BS patterns and truly live consciously and authentically.  Don’t you want to create or intend how it will happen for you instead of being forced to react?  The Angels share this theme in most sessions lately.  It is time to stand confidently in our power & command instead of feeling like victims and powerless to circumstances seemingly thrust upon us.  Our success in this deep physical and emotional healing is assured if we can ride the waves instead of resisting while taking good care of our bodies, minds and Spirits.  If not, we may be in for a bumpy ride.  Here is what the Angels told me in meditation today:

You sensitive ones MUST tend to your own body’s and Spirit’s needs this year to relieve your stress and recharge as you do your cell phones daily and without thought.  Please challenge your mind’s bullying tactics that distract you from being present and kind to yourself.  You don’t need to move to India, meditate for hours per day, go to an island to escape (my go-to desire when under stress!! ;), change your diet drastically, berate yourself endlessly or even join a gym.  Although all are fine and we never judge your choices.  What must stop & is so harmful & draining of your energy is your frequent self beatings with your “should” sticks of guilt and shame with your perceived lack of self control or motivation.

You all ask us for more peace and comfort and wonder why we aren’t listening or helping.  Here is what you all can do with your free will to have less pain and more peace in your bodies, minds and lives.  These 5 things that are free and available to you at all times and take no significant added time will literally clean out, energize you and add years to your lives.   We ask you to carry this list around and maybe set your phone alarm to remind you to do this a few times a day or more until they become a habit. 

1.  Breathe deep and often.  Breathe in and say “Calm” in your mind or out loud. Breathe out slowly and say “Down.”

2. Drink water. Carry it with you wherever you go so that it is available to flush out the toxins and stored negativity & fill you with light, love and energy.

3. Move your body.   Stand up and stretch.  Walk around your house, neighborhood or more.  Put on fun music and dance around. Move in any way as often as possible to move stuck energy.

4. Be where your butt is.  Be fully present where you are in as many moments as you remember. This will bring you to the present which is where your peace and life is.  When in  a conversation, truly listen.  When driving, feel the steering wheel.  When eating, taste the food. When doing the dishes, feel the water.  Catch your mind pulling you to worry, fear, shoulds or to-do’s and be right here now.

5.  Be grateful.  Look around and see all that is going right in your life, experience & world.  This will make you a magnet for attracting more wonderful, gratifying experiences.

We love you and are here cheering you on knowing that Well Being is always yours in every moment at all times, no matter what your experience looks like right now.  You are NEVER alone no matter how deserted you feel.  We are one gently breathe away.  Let us in.  Let us help.  Let us love you as you love everyone else.  It is time.

I guess there is nothing left to say.  I adore you all and am adding my deep knowing that we will all thrive this year.  Whatever you are going through, you are among friends here.  I ask thousands of Angels to be by our side as we embark on another wonderful, exciting year on planet Earth.
