February 2014 Newsletter- Go Be Love

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURES

Hello my friends,

The snow just keeps coming here in New England and in many parts of the country. This picture was taken by my wonderful 2nd mom, Joan Eaton, from her kitchen table in Vermont.  Beautiful just like HER!

I love to see cardinals in winter.  They are a magical gift in the cold of winter & remind me that there is bright, beautiful life outside even though days are darker.  I feel blessed to glimpse them and they encourage me to pay attention or I might miss the signs the Angels are showing me in my rush to get back indoors.

Cardinals also remind me of Kwan Yin who is the Goddess of Compassion.  She is like the Mother Mary of the Chinese people and has a gentle, very loving energy.  Sometimes people see her as red or purple energy.  She is said to have forgiven the murderers of her father and even took them in to live with her.  She teaches us to have compassion for ourselves and each other & reminds us that hurt people hurt people.  It isn’t the whole, empowered people that hurt us but the wounded ones.  She doesn’t encourage us to take abuse but to love ourselves enough to leave the situations, jobs, relationships, patterns that don’t serve us.  But always as we walk away she asks us to turn back and send love to what we are leaving.

This is a time of transition & healing for many of us & those we love.  Our particular circumstances are varied but the theme is the same.  We are cleaning out what doesn’t serve us to create the space to birth new opportunities of grace and blessings.  And the only answer is to send more love as my friend Wendy always reminds me & Kwan Yin teaches us.     I say YES to that.

I am having surgery tomorrow, Feb 5th, to clean out, heal and empower my sacral area or 2nd chakra to be free from pain, release what no longer serves me and take time to nourish & heal my own body.  I release it all with love.  Then I’ll be ready to birth the next chapter of my life.

I appreciate any prayers, love and healing sent my way for a successful surgery and outcome.  I send you all love and prayers for a February filled with love and cardinal magic in all its wonderful forms.  Dawn Gluskey said it best.  “The world needs more love, light, and laughter. Go be love.

Love, love, love you all,
